HOW DO AEROPLANES FLY?

                     HOW DO AEROPLANES FLY?

INTRODUCTION

Aeroplanes are huge machines that can fly.

There can be lots of types of aeroplanes.

HOW AEROPLANES FLY

The wings are most important of the aeroplane.Thats the key to making

something fly.Without wings the aeroplane wouldn't be able to fly or balance.

The wings have a curved upper surface and flatter lower surface,

making a cross sectional shape called an airfoil.

PILOTS KNOW WHERE THEY ARE FLYING

How do pilots know where they are flying?Well they look for

geographical features such as landmarks, mountains, and rivers.Or

they can use VOR,DME,LORAN or GPS.As the plane is flying these stations

will stay in the same place allowing the pilots to fly towards them, away from

them or around them.Pilots say that flying isn't that hard. It's just like your

Riding a bike.

WIND CONDITIONS

What happens when the wind changes directions?

Pilots know how to fly in strong winds. They are trained to fly in these

conditions.Pilots are capable of flying in this kind of weather.

All though is can very dangerous in strong crosswinds.

CONCLUSION/SUMMARY

Aeroplanes are a big part of flight.Without them we wouldn't be able

to travel across the world. As you can see aeroplanes are very clever.
